Today’s prayer
Father, help me to be still and know that You are God. I do not need to fix everything; I only need to trust You.
Say Amen when you are ready
Today’s devotion, in three steps
- 1
Read
A verse chosen from 638 hand-picked verses for the topics you care about.
- 2
Pray
A short written prayer that follows the verse. Pray it slowly, in your own words too.
- 3
Be still
Twenty quiet seconds with God before you say Amen and start your day.
For example, a day with this verse:
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
is followed by this prayer:
Father, help me to be still and know that You are God. I do not need to fix everything; I only need to trust You.
